Equipping 100+ staff with practical tools for psychological safety
Better Society Capital wanted to build psychological safety across the organisation in a way that felt practical, relevant and usable in day-to-day work.
Too often, psychological safety training stays at the level of theory. They wanted something staff could actually take away and use, both in one-to-one conversations and in group settings.

What we did
We designed a one-day workshop focused on helping people create the conditions for more open, honest and constructive ways of working together.
At the heart of the workshop were four practical tools for building psychological safety at work. These were designed to be simple, pragmatic and immediately applicable, giving staff approaches they could use in real conversations rather than abstract ideas to remember.
β
How we delivered it
To reach the full staff body, we ran the workshop 10 times over the course of two weeks, engaging more than 100 members of staff across the organisation.
This created a shared learning experience and gave people a common language and set of practical tools to use across teams.
β
The impact
By the end of the programme, Better Society Capital had equipped staff with practical ways to strengthen psychological safety in everyday work.
Rather than leaving people with theory alone, the workshops helped turn psychological safety into something concrete, giving staff tools they could use straight away to support better conversations, stronger team dynamics and more open ways of working together.
